On March 13, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports held a meeting to review the implementation of the Plan No. 45/KH-UBND of City People’s Committee on the organization of the Olympic Run Day for public health, the Launching Ceremony and the grand final of the 45th Hanoimoi Newspaper Run Tournament for Peace 2018. Attending the tournament is the representatives of the People’s Committee of Nam Tu Liem District (as the host venue) and other functional departments, divisions. After listening to the reports on the progress of preparation of traffic directional distribution, electricity supply, communication, hygiene, etc., Mr. To Van Dong, as the Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, chair of the meeting, confirmed that this is a big sport event with the a lot of participants, firstly held in the area of My Dinh National Stadium so all preparation should be conducted carefully, thoughtfully investigated the place of organization to fully meet the requirements set out, and ensure that the event takes place successfully. In such a spirit, he suggested the units need to follow the City’s plan, actively implement the tasks assigned by function and tasks; during the implementation, if any problems, difficulties arise, the units should coordinate to solve together. Particularly, Bac Tu Liem District as the host venue should coordinate closely with the relevant units, to ensure all the work done best.

The Olympic Run Day for public health and the 45th Hanoimoi Newspaper Opening Run Tournament for Peace 2018 held on Sunday morning, dated March 25, at the My Dinh National Stadium, expected to have more than 7000 runners, including 5000 people in Nam Tu Liem district. Particularly, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports will have the participation of a great number of cadres, civil servants as well as artists, actors and athletes.
