A composing contest launched for propaganda posters on buiding and developing Viet Nam’s culture and people

On the morning of 28 February, at the Industrial Fine Arts College of Ha Noi, the Department of Grassroots Cultural Management under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the launching ceremony of a composing contest for propaganda posters under the two themes: propagandizing the Resolution 33-NQ/TW adopted by the XI term Party Central..

On the morning of 28 February, at the Industrial Fine Arts College of Ha Noi, the Department of Grassroots Cultural Management under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the launching ceremony of a composing contest for propaganda posters under the two themes: propagandizing the Resolution 33-NQ/TW adopted by the XI term Party Central Committee on building and developing culture and the Vietnamese people to meet the requirement for sustainable development of the country and celebrate the 70th Anniversary for Invalids and Fallen Soldiers Day (27/7/1947- 27/7/2017).

The contest is aimed at propagandizing in an intensive and extensive manner within the Party, People and the Military on the cause of comprehensively building and developing culture and the Vietnamese people of  the “true – excellent – beautiful” characteristics, deeply imbued with the spirits of nationalism, humanity, democracy and science. Though which, to confirm that culture has really become a firm spiritual foundation of the society and a major inner power, which ensures the sustainable development and strong protection for the country for the sake of prosperous people, robust nation, democracy, equality and civilization. It is also aimed at perfecting the criteria of cultural values  and the Vietnamese people; creating an environment and conditions for development of personalities, ethics, intellectuality, creativity, social responsibilities, civil obligations,..

The contest has contributed to memorizing and honouring the tremendous exploits made by the heroic martyrs, injured and ill soldiers, families with national credits during the resistance war and national liberation to defend the country; bringing into play the fine tradition of “ grateful to the benefactors”, “repay for the favours” among the entire Party, military and people.

The target contestants include professional and non-professional painters, Vietnamese citizens and overseas Vietnamese people who wish to join and meeting the requirements of the contest regulations. The contest has ended in July 2017.
