The Executive Board of Youth Union of of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports with tenture of 2017- 2019 presented
On May 5, the Executive Committee of Youth Union of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports held the Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, tenure of 2017 – 2019. Participants of the Congress include Mr. To Van Dong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Ms. Pham Thi Nguyen Hanh, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of Propaganda and Training Commission of Party Committee of agencies in Hanoi city, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, member of the the Executive Board of Youth Union, Secretary of Youth Union of the group of agencies in Hanoi, and representatives of departments, subordinated unit of the departments together with 160 excellent members of the youth union members.
There are currently 300 members in the Youth Union of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports. The average age is 28. The number of union members with university and college education accounts for 73%.
In the last tenure, the Youth Union of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports always uphold the volunteering role, expressing dynamism and creativity. It is the core force in the implementation of political and professional tasks as well as movement activities of agencies and units. Many works performed by the youth union members and youths has brought practical effectivenesslts in professional work which have been highly appreciated by the Party Committee and the Director of the Department.
In the work of political and ideological education, youth union members of the entire Department have constantly made efforts in moral practice, quick working style, improvement of in professional work, and actively made contributions to the development of the culture and sports sector as well as in the implementation of assigned political tasks. Regularly diversify forms of activities such as cultural and art exchange, visiting historical relics, especially paying attention to well-organized commemorating activities to the establishment of the Youth Union, responding to “Youth Month” , “Summer Campaign Voluntary Youth “. Chair and co-ordinate with the trade unions of agencies to successfully organize the exchange program titled “Unforgettable memories”.
Attention has been always paid to the movements titled “Taking initiality in socio-economic development”, “Accompaying youth for creating career”, “I love Hanoi” and “Good consulting – good service” is always Implementing activities. This can be realized in the active mobilization of union members, young people to promote their creativeness, enterprising/of a venturesome spirit’; leading in study, research; undertaking scientific works and science projects with practical socio-economic values; The movement titled “I love Hanoi” was implemented by the Youth Union with the activities such as “social and environmental improvement”; building civilized Youth Union Branches at grassroots; The Standing Committee of the Youth Union has deployed 100% in the Youth Union the plan titled “ Summer campaign for voluntary youth under the theme “Youth Action for Urban Civilization – Volunteering for the Community Life”. With affirmed activities, roles and positions of the young people are affirmed, getting the confidence of party committees and socio-political organizations, simultaneouly creating the opportunity for young people to train, dedicate and mature.
At the congress, delegates discussed some contents related to the direction and plan for the next term, including health exercise following the example of President Ho Chi Minh, the implementation of rules, responsibilities, giving friendly smile, good implementation of the conduct of conduct entititled to employees, officials and civil servants in agencie in Hanoi.
Upon the acknowledgement of achievements in the term of 2014 – 2017, the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union awarded certificates of merit for two individuals with excellent achievements in the mission; Ha Noi Youth Union awarded certificates of merit for 5 excellent individuals and the Executive Board of Youth Union of Hanoi’s agencies awarded flag for the outstanding units. The Executive Board of the Youth Union in companies in Hanoi city awared the flag for excellent unit for Youth Department of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports.

At the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Member of the Executive Board of the Youth Union of Hanoi, Secretary General of Youth Union in agencies of Hanoi city acknowledged, commended and congratulated achievements of the Youth Union of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in the last tenure. She hoped that the Executive Boards of Youth Union of the Department in coming tenure will, with young and enthusiastic members who have sense of responsibility, cealessly study and make efforts to fulfil duties as assigned by the company, build a strong youth union organization, actively participate in constructing a strong and stainless party and company authority, make movements of Youth Union of the Department further development, contributing to the success of duties as assigned by the Department and the city. At the Congress, Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, Mr. To Van Dong acknowledged and highly appreciated activities of the Youth Union of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in the last tenure. In coming tenure, he requested all members and youth of the Department to continously promote their vontunary spirit and creativeness and implement well political and spiritual education as well as movements titled “Volunteering in soci-economic development of the city”, focusing on movements titled “good consulting – good service”, “3 responsibilities” , “Travelling with youth in establishing career” and “I love Hanoi” and the implementation of works and taking initiative in offering proposals to the Party Committee and Directorate of the Department on propgrammes, activities and works which may be undertaken and supported by the Youth Union to fulfil the general taks of the Department, promoting the voluntary role of youth in all aspects of work; continously giving advices and well completing art and sports programmes and implementing the external information tasks of the sector.
In order to carry out activities in the following years, the Congress has seriously elected the Executive Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, tenure of 2017 – 2019, including 15 persons. The Congress also elect 08 persons to attend the Vith Congress of Youth Union of agencies in Hanoi city, the tenure of 2017 – 2019. In the afternoon of 5 May, the Executive Board of the Youth Union of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports organized the first meeting session. At this meeting,Ms. Vu Ha Phuong, Secretary of Youth Union Branch of Office is trusted and elected by the Executive Board as Secretary of Youth Union of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Comrade Vu Ha Phuong, Secretary of the Department of the Department of the Department is elected by the Executive Committee as secretary of the Youth Union of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hanoi for the term of 2017 to 2019.
