Dien Bien’s cultural and tourism event in Ha Noi

As of 19-21 January, at Ly Thai To monument public garden, The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province will in collaboration with Ha Noi Department of Culture and sports be organizing Dien Bien’s cultural and tourism festival. This activity is to boost the cooperation between Ha Noi capital and Dien Bien..

As of 19-21 January, at Ly Thai To monument public garden, The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province will in collaboration with Ha Noi Department of Culture and sports be organizing Dien Bien’s cultural and tourism festival.
This activity is to boost the cooperation between Ha Noi capital and Dien Bien province, effectively exploit Dien Bien province’s potentials and fortes for tourism development; at the same time, preserve, enhance and honour the ethnic identities and develop the two localities’s tourism.
It will concentrate on introducing, promoting the beauties of the land and people, and unique cultural and tourism characteristics of Dien Bien. Notably, at the Ban flower festival 2018, visitors will be able to experience agricultural products, famous specialities, art photos and interact with Miss of Ban flower.

Also at the event, there will be art programme “ Come to Dien Bien – a land of Ban flowers” taking place at Ly Thai To monument public garden, with such performances as: “My village’s wine bottle”, “Rice cake making festival in the mountainous area”, “Flowers growing by the stream” ,“Grouse”…
Following the Ha Noi event, Ban flower festival 2018 will be taking place from 17 – 19 March in Dien Bien city, with its focuses as the opening ceremony (17 March evening), traditional ethnic costume fashion show contest (18 March), exhibiting  tourism products, traditional ethnic culture during 16 – 20 March; Sports competition,.. and other activities as Phu village festival, art performance and food exhange at the cultural tourism villages as Co My, Noong Chun, Him Lam, Ten,  Men,…
