Commemorating the 119th birth day of Mr. Nguyen Duc Canh (2/2/1908 – 2/2/2018), 88th founding anniversary of the communist party of Viet Nam (3/2/1930 – 3/2/2018), on the morning of 18th January, the topical exhibition titled “Everlasting bright faith” was opened at Hoa Lo prison relic. On hand were Mr. Pham Quang Nghi, former politburo member – former head of Ha Noi municipal party committee, representatives the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s department leaders, leaders of the city departments , historical heritage reseachers. Mr. To Van Dong, Director and Mr. Truong Minh Tien, Deputy Director of Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports were attending.
The exhibiting area was comprised of three elements: The first element was about “Nguyen Duc Canh, imprints of a revolutionary”, displaying documents, objects relating to his life and revolutionary career. The second element was named “Marching forward under the party’s flag”, exhibiting images, materials and objects on four figures as Secretaries General: Tran Phu, Le Hong Phong, Ha Huy Tap and Nguyen Van Cu.

In conjuntion with the images, objects exhibited at the diplaying area was an exchange talks with the historic witnesses – outstanding party members who once were arrested and imprisoned by the imperialists and colonialists, including major general Huynh Dac. The sharings of the witnesses helped invited guests at the programme be more aware of motives, faith which had helped them overcome the hardships in the prison life, maintain their indomitableness and beliefs in the party and revolutionary cause. The theme exhibition would last from 18/01/2018 to 14/02/2018
