On July 26, Cau Giay District People’s Committee organized the Final of Collective Dance and Song Dance Festival – Children’s Song and summary of summer activities in 2018.
There were 8 teams from 8 wards in the area. With the duration of from 25 to 30 minutes, the contest of each team included many items: collective dance and song, group singing, duet and solo. The teams of the wards have brought the audiences with fascinating performances, beautiful costumes, well-trained songs and dance movements.
A performance at the festival
At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the excellent prize to Trung Hoa ward; First Prize to two wards of Dich Vong and Nghia Do; second prize to two wards of Nghia Tan and Quan Hoa; Third prize to Dich Vong Hau, Yen Hoa and Mai Dich. Trung Hoa ward is the team to present the district to participate in the city-level competition (scheduled to be held on August 7, 2018).
Awards for the winning unit at the Festival
With the theme of Action Month for Children, “For the Safe and Healthy Life of Children in the Digital World” and the motto of orienting the activities to grassroots, the summer activities 2018 in Cau Giay district has achieved remarkable results. The mobilization of the Children Sponsorship Fund was implemented by the district and wards, reaching 560% of the city plan. The district level mobilized VND 307.5 million; Ward level mobilized VND 1,373.5 million. The district has organized many useful activities: junior talent search contest; Children’s Festival for propaganda and introduction of books in summer; Collective song and dance festival and children’s song; swimming training at all levels, training on skills of preventing drowning for children… The Cau Giay District People’s Committee rewarded 3 excellent organizations, 5 well-organized units and 7 well-coordinated units in implementing summer activities in 2018.
