After 5-day competition (25-27 May), (3vs3) national volleyball championship 2018 officially closed on the evening of 27th May at Lam Son square (Thanh Hoa province).
Participating in this year’s tournament, there were over 100 players coming from 12 teams  (7 male and 5 female) of 8 provinces and cities across the country, namely: Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh city, Ha Nam, soc Trang, Quang Ninh, Binh Thuan and the host of Thanh Hoa. The competition would be conducted in two rounds.

Upon completion of the tournament, the Organizing Committee presented the championship cup to the teams.  As for qualifying men, the championship went to Ho Chi Minh city; the runner-up to the air defence team; the two third prizes belonged to Soc Trang and Thanh Hoa.
in women’ competititon, Ho Chi Minh got the championship, the runner-up for Ha Noi and the two third prizes went to Quang Ninh and Can Tho.
Apart from that, the Organizing Committee awarded differrent prizes to the athlete obtaining two throwing points of excellence; and the king and queen of the volleyball sport respectively.

The (3 vs 3) national volleyball championship 2018 is within the framework of the national sports competition. This is aimed at evaluating the training work, building and developing the 3 vs 3 volleyball at localities, branches in the whole country; at the same time, enhancing competing experiences, organizing and operating capacity of the tournaments. Additionally, through the tournament, it would help find out new elements so as to supplement to the 3 vs 3 national selected team. It would also make step by step a preparation for the National Sports Congress due to be at the year end in Ha Noi.
