On the evening of April 27, 2021, at the Vietnam Circus Federation, Hanoi, it took place the closing ceremony of the National Circus Talent Contest 2021. This year’s contest was attended by nearly 100 actors from 5 art units, including Vietnam Circus and Variety Arts School, Phuong Nam Art Theater, Vietnam Circus Federation, Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theater, Long An Cultural and Arts Center.
With a total of 29 circus acts participating in the competition, the talented actors and actresses of the Circus stage brought to the audience unique, attractive and equally satisfying performances in many different circus genres such as Acrobatics, juggling, balance, magic, humor, animal training, etc.

Results: The Organization Committee awarded 18 prizes. In which, there are 5 first prizes including the performances: “Vietnamese spirit” (Acrobatics) – Vietnam Circus Federation, “Vietnamese soul” (image of 4 boys) – Vietnam Circus and Variety Arts School, “H’Mong Spring Festival” (horse circus) – Vietnam Circus Federation, “Swinging in the air” (3-girl swinging) – Vietnam Circus and Variety Arts School, “Sacred lotus” (tapestry) – Phuong Nam Art Theater.
10 Second prizes were awarded for the following performances: “Men’s and women’s leather straps” – Vietnam Circus Federation; “Memory” (“Power of hands”) – Phuong Nam Art Theater; “Dog Clown” – Vietnam Circus Federation; “People from space” (Rolling around) – Vietnam Circus Federation; “Four-girl hat swinging” – Vietnam Circus Federation; “Highland Lotus” (using umbrellas) – Vietnam Circus and Variety Arts School; “Shaping on skates” – Vietnam Circus Federation; “Hovering head on swing” – Long An Arts and Culture Center; “Townhouse” (Standing by hands) – Vietnam Circus and Variety Arts School; “Birds of peace” (swinging) – Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theater.

Besides, the Organizing Committee also awarded 3 third prizes for other excellent performances. Awarded the Best Staging Award to People’s Artist, Mr. Tong Toan Thang – Vietnam Circus Federation, Best Training to artist Dang Thanh Hai – Vietnam Circus Federation.
In addition, the Vietnam Stage Artists Association awarded 2 awards to the training unit, including the Vietnam Circus Federation and the Vietnam Circus and Variety Arts School, and 5 prospect prizes for excellent artists.
The Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theater participated in the Competition with 5 performances, of which 2 won prizes. It was the second prize for the performance “Birds of peace” (swinging) and the third prize for the performance “Nine tailed” (shaking the ring).
