Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival opened in Hanoi 2019 attracted more than 1 million visitors.
The Japanese cherry blossom festival – Hanoi in 2019 took place from March 29 to April 2 at Ly Thai To flower garden and attracted a record number of viewers, more than 1 million domestic and foreign visitors participated and experienced. That hereby helped us have a multidimensional view of Vietnamese and Japanese culture.
The Japanese cherry blossom festival opened in Ha Noi is an annual event of cherry blossoms exhibitions, cultural exchanges, investment promotion and tourism organized to aim at linking friendship and acting as a bridge for the people of Vietnam and Japan to strengthen mutual understanding, contributing to the strategic partnership of Vietnam – Japan in depth, practical and effective ways.
Cherry blossoms festival took place with many interesting events and activities
During the festival, AIC Group has organized many events and activities such as giving and planting cherry trees; displaying nearly 30,000 trees, cherry blossoms branches and many typical Vietnamese flowers; introducing Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine; performing traditional arts programs of Japan and Hanoi; conferencing to promote tourism investment promotion and a competition to select cherry blossom Goodwill Ambassador was held for the first time in 2019, etc.
This series of activities aimed to introduce and promote the image and cultural beauty of the country and people of Japan to Hanoi citizens, thereby further enhancing the understanding, trust and cohesion between the people of the two countries, at the same time, being exchanging experiences and cooperating in the fields of culture, education, health, tourism and economy between Hanoi Capital and Japan. Therefore, Vietnam Record Association has awarded AIC group a certificate of record setting “A special cherry blossom festival with many events and activities with the greatest human and community values”.
