On the morning of July 26th, at the Hanoi Center for Training and Sports Competition, a meeting and dialogue took place for the coaches and athletes of the Discipline of Hanoi Sports for Disabled People. On the morning of July 26th, at the Hanoi Center for Training and Sports Competition, a meeting and dialogue took place for the coaches and athletes of the Discipline of Hanoi Sports for Disabled People. The meeting and dialogue aims to answer all questions about the regime and policies for coaches and athletes of Discipline of Hanoi Sports for Disabled People.


The reason for this meeting is that the Director of the Center addresses the complaints for long time in the department. According to the Center’s leaders, until July 20, 2018, the Center received a total of 9 claims and denunciations related to the Discipline including 6 anonymous denunciations, 01 anonymous claim, 01 named denunciation and 01 named petition.
At the meeting, all questions related to the specific content of the related complaints on signing contracts, wages and bonuses of athletes were answered transparently and publicly by all leaders of the Department and the director of the Center for the understanding of coaches and athletes.

To prevent the recurrence, the leader of the Department suggested that the Discipline for Disabled People should propagate and explain clearly the State’s regimes and policies to all disabled athletes depending on their own level, injuries and health… In addition, the Center must strengthen management, require the Discipline to publicly disclose the management for revenue and expenditure from voluntary funds. The Discipline leaders must be more closely involved in management for coaches and athletes, administer the Discipline objectively and scientifically, ensure the provision of transparent and regular information on all regimes and policies….
At present, the Discipline of Hanoi Sports for Disabled People has 149 staffs, coaches and athletes, including 6 subjects of table tennis, badminton, chess, weightlifting and athletics. Now, there are 8 coaches and 33 athletes for team; 3 coaches and 51 athletes for youth; 54 athletes for talents. The Discipline has been established on January 06, 2010.
