Speaking at the pre-competing function, Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien stressed: “I do hope that the shooting team will further build on the efforts made at Olympic Brazil, unitingin oneness of minds, supporting one another to achieve good results. The individual’s result also means the collective’s. According to my own experience, we need to concentrate, but not to be too much tense. The athletes will need only to try their best and if the rivals are stronger, we might as well have to accept”.
Viet Nam national shooting team ready for gold hunting at ASIAD 2018.
At the ceremony, Vice Chairman cum Secretary General of Viet Nam Shooting Federation, Head Coach of the National Shooting Team Nguyen Thi Nhung saidto prepare for this event, right from early year, Viet Nam national shooting team has been actively trained and participated in many major competitionsin the world and continents.At the moment, it is ready to set out for competing at the congress.
Also at the time, Viet Nam Shooting Federation together with the sponsors have announced the prize money categories to be awarded to gunners of ASIAD 2018. Under which, the total reward for those who obtains gold medal will be 2.12 billions VND, 660 millions VND for silver and 376 millions VND for bronze.Besides, it has also received the in-kind sponsorship from Partron and Scelido companies. After the pre-competing ceremony, on 30th July it will set off to Korea for training.And it will officially take part in the competition on 19th August, starting with women and men’ rifle content.
