The victory of “Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air battle” is a brilliant landmark and grand symbol of the strength of revolutionary heroism, expressing the level of intelligence and bravery of Vietnamese people in the Ho Chi Minh era, and proving the capability of Vietnam nation in the War against the US. During 12 days and nights from December 18 to December 29, 1972, the army and people of Hanoi capital had made a feat of arms by shooting down 81 US aircraft, of  which there were 34 B52 “stratofortress”.

The exhibition introduces nearly 100 photographs, more than 50 books, items and valuable documentary films about the victory of “Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air battle”, making a panorama of the immortal epic of army and people of Hanoi capital 45 years ago. The exhibition has helped wake up the national pride, encourage the active participation in activities and movements, and accelerate the application of historical lessons to the practical course of building, developing and protecting the capital.
