Celebrating the 42nd  Anniversary of the total South region Liberation Day and National Unity (30 April), and the International Labour Day the 1st May, on 26 April, at the stadium, the Town Federation of Labour Union coordinated with the Centre for Culture, Information and Sports held a sports festival for workers and labourers in launching the month of workers of 2017. Attending the event were Mr. Pham Ba Vinh, Vice Chairman of Ha Noi Federation of Labour Union;Mr Nguyen Van Minh, Deputy Head of the District Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Huy Khanh, Vice Chairman of the Town People’s Committee.

There were over 400 athletes from 43 organizations, bodies and units located in the area to participat in the sports festival. They competed against one another in 4 sport games, including: badminton, table tennis, tug of war, bag-jumping. The sports festival was in a series of activities in response of the “ Month of workers” in 2017 initiated by the Town Federation of Labour Union, with a view to enriching the cultural and spiritual life, and health improvement, and creating a wholesome and interesting playground so as to encourage them to enthusiatically emulate in labour, production for the outstanding accomplishment of the organizations and units’ responsibilities.

Organizing Committee presents prizes to the outstanding collective competitors

Ending the sports festival, the Organizing Committee awarded the first, second and co-third prizes to the collectives which had succeeded in high achievements. On this occassion, the Town Federation of Labour Union gave presents worth 500,000 dongs each to the 3 workers who risked accidents.
