After the launch, the District Women’s Union contributed and supported 300 kg of rice, 360 bottles of mineral water, 32 cartons of milk, 300 pieces of tofu, 1,500 eggs, nearly 500 kg of vegetables and fruits, 28 boxes of instant noodles, 150 splash shields and some necessities, etc. with a total value of over VND 50 million.

 The Women’s Union of Quoc Oai district donated necessities to the blockade areas.

All the above necessities were received and given by the district Women’s Union to the district health center and the people in the quarantined area in Ngo Sai village (Quoc Oai town), people in the blockade area of Ngoc Than village (Ngoc My commune) to support the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This is a meaningful activity of the district women’s unions, which has been receiving the attention and active participation of women’s officials and members. Thereby, the women have spread the spirit of solidarity, demonstrated their roles and responsibilities, become a firm “background”, working together with the people of the whole district to fight the pandemic.

Previously, on November 1, 2021, the Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quoc Oai district also received necessities supported by units and benefactors to support the frontline forces fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, households in the blockade and medical isolation areas in the district.

 Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front People’s Committee of Quoc Oai district, Mr. Vuong Van Thang received support from units and benefactors.

Accordingly, the district Fatherland Front received 8,800 chicken and duck eggs; nearly 700kg of green vegetables of all kinds. In which, Thanh An Agricultural Cooperative, Cong Hoa commune donated 3,600 chicken eggs; The “ Tu Tam Volunteer “ group in Can Thuong village, Can Huu commune and sponsors donated 600kg of cabbage; The Women’s Union of Nghia Huong Commune donated 70kg of broccoli; Dong Xuan commune’s officials and people donated 2,000 eggs; Officials and people of Phu Cat commune donated 3,200 duck eggs and 20,000 medical masks.

Immediately after receiving it, the Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quoc Oai district organized the distribution to the units performing the frontline tasks of pandemic prevention and control and 108 households in the quarantined and isolated areas. in Ngoc Than village, Ngoc My commune.

The support and donation of necessities for the frontline forces to fight the pandemic, households in isolation and medical blockade areas due to the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic in the district shows the spirit of mutual affection, solidarity of units, benefactors and people. This is a great source of encouragement for the community to overcome difficulties and fight the pandemic.
