Summer activities themed “Adding wing to kid candiates’s dreams” opens at Van lake – Van Mieu

A series of activities will be taking place for more than 2 months in summer, starting from the 1st June to 25th August. Each week will see a talk show under differrent topic, which include showing and experiencing activities, weekend bazzar, rural food stalls… It is the Organizing Committee’s wish these activities will become not..

A series of activities will be taking place for more than 2 months in summer, starting from the 1st June to 25th August. Each week will see a talk show under differrent topic, which include showing and experiencing activities, weekend bazzar, rural food stalls… It is the Organizing Committee’s wish these activities will become not only a useful playground for the city folks and visitors, but also the camping sites which help children with ample opportunities to discover cultural values, create craft village products and folklore games.

Mr. Le Xuan Kieu – Director of the Centre for Cultural and Scientific Activities of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam said: By organizing these activities named as “Adding wing to kid candidates’ dreams”, the kids and their parents will be able to experience cultural activities, helping them understand and love more about the traditional culturalvalues. At the same time, the activities will help them practice living skills and improve their personalities as well as develop children’s intellectuality.

 Useful and interesting activities taking place at Van Lake – Van Mieu.

Participating in the “Adding wing to the dreams” activity – apart from checking in the colourful space of kites, one will be able to experience the kite-making contest, kite-sticking and kite-decorating. Coupled with that. the “Talk show on sharing of living skills and experiences” which takes place on every sunday morning is seen as one of the new point under this year’s programme. These talks have contributed considerably to raising the awareness and further respect for the cultural values of the nation.

Additionally, there are a number of activities happening on every sunday evening i.e release of character flower latterns, folklore games, art performances together with bazzars which display and sell a variety of products ranging from traditional to modern ones; it is promised that these activities will certainly attract kids and Hanoians, tourists inside and outside to come and visit Van Mieu – Quoc Tu giams.
