Thanh Oai District Concluded its Thanh Oai Logo and Song Composition Competition

With the aim to relive its pride, advocate the awareness of preserving and promoting its tradition amidst the local socio-economic development, building a more prosperous and civilized Thanh Oai in paralle with promoting the image, culture and people of Thanh Oai, its People’s Committee launched the Thanh Oai Logo and Song Composition Competition to the people of all classes within and beyond the District.

Authors are conferred awards.

2 months after the launch, the Steering Committee had received hundreds of logos and songs about Thanh Oai. Most logo authors depicted Thanh Oai with its unique geographical, natural and land features, as the homeland of numerous cultural and revolutionary traditions, hard-working and knowledge-yearning people, and hundreds of crafts, etc. Songs about Thanh Oai represented deeply the socio-cultural thoughts and way of thinking, praising love for the homeland and people of Thanh Oai in the cause of the district’s formation and growth.

Upon review, evaluation and scoring,, the Competition Steering Committee selected several remarkable logos and songs to award. This year’s competition went without a first place; there were 5 consolation prizes  awarded to the following logo authors: Nguyen Ngoc Duy Man, Bui Duc Hieu, Vo Duy Hiep; and 5 consolation prizes awarded to the songs “Nghe tieng hat que huong” by Le Thi Thuan Quynh; “Tu Hao Thanh Oai – Ha Noi” by Nguyen Huu Minh; “Song Day que toi” by Khanh Vu; “Dat me Thanh Oai” byDang Tai Tue; and “Tu hao dat me Thanh Oai” by Nguyen Dang Tai.
