On the morning of 20 January, at Hoa Lo Prison relic, the theme exhibition titled “ Lifetime Party Follower” opened. It was one of the activities celebrating the 12th National Party Congress and the 86th Founding Anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam co-organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ha Noi and the Management Board of Hoa Lo Prison relic.

With nearly 200 pictures, documents, objects, abstracts on display which have reintroduced biographies, homeland, family, path to revolution, imprisonment days and days afterwards following the revolutionary path of the 5 comrades – Former General Secretaries of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, who used to be arrested and detained at Hoa Lo prison, included Nguyen Van cu, Truong Chinh, Le Duan, Nguyen Van Linh, Do Muoi. The pictures have helped viewers experience indomitable virtues sufferred by the revolutionary martyrs in any circumstances, hence provoking deep emotional thoughts of their untiring combatant wills in the colonial, imperial prison and significant hallmarks throughout the path of revolution full of harships and sacrifices.

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Deputy Director of Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports affirmed the exhibition has in part assisted the public to have a generic insight into the life, career, perseverance and wholeheartedness to pursue the revolutionary path of comarades once as former General Secretary. Their lives and careers have become the exemplary icons of noble virtues of the communist. The afterwards, being General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, they have continued making great contributions to the cause of struggle for independence, building and national defence.
The exhibition was attended by the revolutionary veterans, who were once captured and detained at Hoa Lo prison. A big number of Hanoians and pupils, students was also participating in the event. This exhibition on “ Lifetime Party Follower” would last till 5 February, 2016.
