Voting for 10 typical Hanoi Sports and Culture events in 2020

Accordingly, there are 11 outstanding Culture and Sports events in the city proposed by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, including:

1. Successfully organizing activities to serve political events and celebrations of major holidays of Vietnam and the capital.

Successfully organizing the 90^th anniversary of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2020)

1. Flourishing in the work of decoration, propaganda and visual promotion in the city.
2. Socializing in the organization of activities and events – the highlight of the Capital’s Culture and Sports sector in 2020.
3. Series of propaganda and implementation activities of the 02 Codes of Conduct in Hanoi city.
4. Capital’s Theater Festival for the fourth time in 2020.
5. Literary and artistic creation campaign to celebrate the 1010^th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
6. Renovating and creating activities at Hoa Lo Prison Relic.
7. Open ASEAN cultural and artistic exchanges to welcome the Year of ASEAN Chairmanship.
8. Kick-off with SEA Games 31 and ASEAN Para Games 11.
9. VPBank Hanoi Marathon ASEAN 2020 – The first night running tournament held in Hanoi.

10. For the first time, the Hanoi and Vietnam’s archery athlete officially won the right to attend the Olympics.

In addition, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports also requested press and media agencies to propose more outstanding events and activities of the Culture – Sports industry in 2020. Accordingly, there are 2 events to recommend to vote for 10 outstanding Culture and Sports events:

1. Folklore festival in contemporary life in Hanoi 2020.
2. Celebrating the 650^th anniversary of Chu Van An’s death (1370- 2020)
