In the morning of April 16, the opening ceremony of the 5th National Talent Wrestling Championship 2018 will take place at Tuong Giang village, Tu Son Town, Bac Ninh Province. It is organized by Vietnam Sports Administration in cooperation with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh Province to attract more than 100 athletes from provinces, cities in the country.
In the 5th National Talent Wrestling Championship 2018, there are eight delegations such as Hanoi, Vinh Phuc 1, Vinh Phuc 2, Bac Giang, Nghe An, Thua Thien Hue, Ministry of Public Security, Kinh Bac Wrestling Association. In particular, all athletes have been gold, silver, bronze medalists in the championships, youth and junior wrestling tournaments in the country.
The championship is played in the form of knockout after twice lost with a total of 74 competitions divided into nine weight classes such as less than 50kg, more than 50kg to 55kg, 55kg to 60kg, more than 60kg to 65kg, more than 65kg to 70kg, more than 70kg to 80kg, more than 80kg to 85kg and more than 85kg.
The National Talent Wrestling Championship 2018 is the highest quality professional in the country with the participation of many top national athletes. It is not only a chance for honorable wrestlers to practice, but also an active contribution to encourage, cheer and develop traditional wrestling in the localities throughout the country.
This championship takes place until April 18, 2018.
