The official dispatch clearly states about implementing Official Dispatch No. 06/CD-UBND dated May 3, 2021, by the Chairman of the City People’s Committee on the temporary suspension of non-essential activities to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic in the City’s areas; The Department of Culture and Sports requests the People’s Committees of districts and towns to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the directing documents of the Prime Minister, the City Party Committee, the People’s Committee of the city and the Document No. 1094/SVHTT-NSVH dated April 30, 2021, by the Department of Culture and Sports on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Temporarily opening to visitors at relics and religious establishments from 5:00 p.m. on May 3, 2021; Continuing to suspend the organization of festivals, cultural and sports events with a large concentration of people in the area under the direction of the Official Dispatch No. 03, 04, 05, 06 by the Chairman of the City People’s Committee on implementing the prevention and control of Covid-19 pandemic in Hanoi city.
The official dispatch also emphasizes the promotion of communication measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic; requires people to wear masks when participating in cultural activities, sports and public places; mobilizes people to get married or postpone the wedding party; organize civilized funerals, does not organize mass visits, shorten the organization time, and also requires strict implementation of regulations on disease prevention.
The Department also requested offices and units to close to visitors to historical sites, not organize performing arts events, music and dance programs, theater plays (even licensed); stop organizing competitive activities; not organize sport training groups to go to the provinces (including the groups being issued decision thereon) until there is a new notice from the City.
The heads of departments, divisions and units are responsible for pandemic prevention and control in their units, strictly implementing pandemic prevention measures (body temperature measurement, mask, disinfecting spray, cleaning workplace, etc.), strengthening the management of officials to limit business trips to the province, and conduct medical declaration in case of mandatory situations as regulated.
