The special show “Historical Autumns” was staged on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – August 19, 2021) and Liberation Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 – September 2, 2021) was broadcast on the evening of August 28 on VTV1.

The show was designed with songs praising great victories in the cause of the struggle, national liberation and reunification, as well as in the cause of national construction, defense and development, affirming the great merits and dedication of the entire Party, people, and military and the precious help of other countries over the past 76 years. Revolutionary songs in the show such as “Viet Minh flag”; “August nineteen”; “Southern Resistance”; “National Guard Corps”; “To praise President Ho”; “Red flower”; “Hanoi people”; “Country full of joy”; “Ambition”; “My motherland has never been so beautiful”, etc. have been prepared and performed by artists: People’s Artist Quoc Hung, My Linh, Tung Duong, Pham Thu Ha, Tran Thu Ha (who won the Second Prize of Sao Mai Contest – Folk Series), Xuan Hao, Viet Danh, Thanh Thanh, Hue Thuong, Phuong Mai, Dang Long, Trung Kien, and bands: Oplus, Time, Phuong Nam. With specific events, stories, and characters, the songs demonstrate the independent will that creates the strength of Vietnamese people throughout the history of national construction, defense and development.
With passionate melodies and beautiful lyrics, the songs spread the most optimistic energy to the audience.
The show was held when not only Vietnam country but also the whole world has been fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic. The new songs such as “The consensus of Vietnamese” and “Vietnam sun” with positive messages aim to call for all Vietnamese people to unite and join in the fight against the pandemic, and to encourage the “heroes” who are working hard all day on the front lines against the Covid-19 pandemic. What is more, with passionate melody and beautiful lyrics, the songs spread the most optimistic energy to the audience, demonstrating that there are a lot of good people with good deeds around us.
