The play “Trai tim nguoi Ha Noi” – Hanoi Drama Theater
This is an activity that the Vietnam Association of Theater Artists organizes with the meaning of artistic exchange between Vietnam and other countries around the world, in order to improve the quality of art as well as encourage innovation and creativity for domestic theater art background.
This year’s festival has the participation of 15 works with all types of art such as: Drama, puppetry, cai luong, circus… from 15 domestic art units, namely: Thang Long Performing Arts Branch (Hanoi Theater Association), Vietnam Puppet Theater, Lucteam Troupe, Military Drama Plays, Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema, Hai Phong Theater Artists Association, Le Ngoc Theater, Long An Cai Luong Performing Arts Delegation, Hai Phong Drama Troupe, Vietnam Drama Theater, Youth Theater, Hanoi Drama Theater, Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association, Hai Phong Puppetry Art Troupe, Vietnam Cai Luong Theater, Vietnam Circus Federation.

The festival also has the participation of 6 international art troupes including: Tom Corandini Teatro (Italy), Yvua Arts (Korea), Patch Theater (Poland), Singapore Raffles Music College (Singapore), Mass Foundation (Pakistan), Dhyaas Performing Arts (India). International art units will bring 6 shows that promise many unique experiments. These works will be introduced to the public at Dai Nam Theater, 89 Hue Street, Hanoi.
Performances of Vietnamese art troupes participating in the festival will be performed at theaters of Hanoi and Hai Phong such as Cong Nhan Theater, Tuoi Tre Theater, Military Theater of Hanoi, and THang Tam Opera House, Hai Phong City Theater, Hai Phong Children’s Cultural Palace…
Cai Luong, circus play “Thuong Thien Thanh Mau” – Vietnam Cai Luong Theater and Vietnam Circus Federation combine to stage
As the name suggests, the works participating in the festival are experimentally staged by domestic art units. Typical performances include: “Thuong Thien Thanh Mau” – Vietnam Cai Luong Theater in collaboration with Vietnam Circus Federation, or “Ban tinh ca tren nui” by Vietnam Puppet Theater…
The Hanoi Drama Theater participates in the International Experimental Theater Festival with the play “Trai tim nguoi Ha Noi” – This is a work that has just been completed and released to the audience this November.
The opening ceremony of the 5th International Experimental Theater Festival, Hanoi – 2022 will take place at 19:30 on November 15, 2022 at the Tuoi Tre Theater, 11 Ngo Thi Nham, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi. The closing ceremony of the Festival will be held at 8 pm on November 26, 2022 at Dai Nam Theater, 89 Hue Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi.
