The People’s Committee of Thanh Xuan District has issued Document No. 2612/UBND-VH&TT regarding the state management of karaoke business activities, Music Recording Box services, and karaoke establishments converting their business purpose into restaurants or cafes.
The People’s Committee of Thanh Xuan District requires the Department of Culture and Information to implement and guide the dissemination of information through various practical and diverse forms about the legal regulations under Decree No. 54/2019/ND-CP dated June 19, 2019, of the Government “Regulating the business of karaoke services, dance services,” including security, order, fire prevention, and rescue, as well as other related directives on managing karaoke service businesses, cultural activities, and cultural services to the entire political system in the district, businesses, individuals engaged in cultural business activities, and all residents to be aware and participate in implementation.
The department will lead and coordinate with relevant units to advise the People’s Committee of the district on directing and organizing the implementation of state management work according to regulations.
Inspection and Supervision of Karaoke Businesses in Thanh Xuan
Thanh Xuan District assigns the police force to take responsibility for implementing state management work within their jurisdiction. They are to strictly handle establishments that do not meet the operational conditions for security, order, fire prevention, and fire safety in the karaoke business.
Relevant departments, sectors, and agencies will coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports, and the police force to manage karaoke business operations and Music Recording Box services, etc.
Fire Prevention and Control Propaganda for Managed Establishments in Thanh Xuan – Kh.T
The People’s Committees of wards in Thanh Xuan will direct the interdisciplinary inspection teams to increase inspections of karaoke business establishments, Music Recording Box services, and karaoke establishments that have converted their business purpose into restaurants or cafes in the area. They will strictly handle establishments that do not meet the operational conditions for security, order, fire prevention, and fire safety in the karaoke business, following legal regulations and guidelines from the Department of Grassroots Culture – Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
