On the occasion of the 128th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (19.5.1890-19.5.2018). The Dong Da Cultural- Information and Sport Center organized the 5th Dong Da Chinese chess Openings 2018.This chess championship attracted 122 athletes from 20 clubs around Hanoi. With many excellent players, the players attended in around 10 ages. After a day of exciting and dramatic competition, the 5th Dong Da Chess Openings reached the end with the results.
According to the organizing committee, the fifth Dong Da Chess Championship Openings 2018 drew more attentions of players and clubs than the previous ones. There are many young talented chess players of Hanoi, many of who are appreciated. In this tournament, the extra class has appeal for some players in the amateur clubs to attend. The chamionship aimed at discovering and selecting the young gifted players for the young selection team of Hanoi to attend the national competition.
