The People’s Committee of Hai Ba Trung District has just issued the Plan No. 126/KH-BCD to implement the movement “All people unite to build cultural life” in 2018.
In 2018, the District People’s Committee strives to reach the target: 100% of families register to obtain “cultural family”; 86.5% of families are recognized and hold the title of cultural family; 71% of the residential groups have been recognized and maintained the cultural residential group; 70% of agencies, units and enterprises are recognized as having reached the cultural standard; From 1 to 2 wards meet standard “urban civilization”; 42% of people at the locality regularly participate in cultural and sports activities in the community; 33% of families train sports; 70% of the residential areas own entertainment, practice places for the community activities.

To achieve the above targets, Hai Ba Trung District will enhance the leadership and direction of Party committees and local administrations, continue consolidating and promoting the active and creative role of steering committees at all levels in the implementation of the contents of the movement; promote communication in various forms and activities so that the contents of the communication campaigns penetrate the staff and people of all classes; maintain the organization of the National People’s Congress, annual Great National Unity Festival; continue to promote the movement of emulation of sectors, unions, integration with the main contents of the movement; improve the quality of cultural models. First of all, the most important thing is to build cultural families, which is the basic factor to improve the quality of the population, strive to build “ward meets urban civilization standards” and combine the contents of the movement with the development of the movement “All people unite to build cultural life” with the implementation of the campaign “Studying and following the Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and methods” and “Good people and good action” and the movement “good people, good deeds”. To promote and multiply positive factors, typical advanced models, encourage and reward individuals and units that well implement the cultural lifestyle.

In addition, the District will further step up socialization in order to attract investment resources, build local cultural institutions such as community houses, libraries, newsagents, playgrounds and sport training and competition grounds; continue to maintain the movement of spring cleaning as the voluntary activity in residential areas, public offices and enterprises together with handling violations of urban civilized lifestyle by strict and more effective measures.
