In 2017, the movement “All people unite to build cultural life” is closely linked to the district’s political tasks, especially the thematic contents on “Studying and following the Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and methods” with a variety of content and forms such as implementing civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals; food hygiene and safety, labor safety, fire and explosion prevention, communication of codes of conduct in municipal agencies, administrative reforms, and contents on “Year of administrative discipline 2017”, etc. The construction of cultural models is also intensified, including cultural families, cultural residential groups, and cultural agencies. In 2017, the rate of cultural families in the district reached 91.93% (48,434 families); 82.81% (236 residential groups) of residential groups achieved “cultural residential group”.
Cau Giay District performed “Year of urban civilization and order” successfully
The District continues to implement the “Year of urban civilization and order”, promote the communication and mobilize people to maintain hygiene, build living environment with the spirit of “Bright, green, clean”, preserve the spring cleaning movement in the area, maintain and improve the quality of the “self-management road”, launch a model of “Use of recycled items for plantation” in the community such as “Green corner” model of environmental protection in Quan Hoa ward; mobilize business households and people not to peddle goods, encroach on road pavements, ensure traffic order and safety; Continuing to focus on removing and handling strictly and thoroughly the cases related to illegal advertising, generalize 71 ad numbers, conduct administrative violations of 05 cases of illegal advertising with the amount of VND 11 million, etc. The movement “All the people protect the homeland security” continues to be deployed extensively with various contents. The model “Self-defense, self-management” associated with the movement of all people involved in denouncing crimes and social evils continue to be maintained. In the recent year, the district mobilized thousands of people to participate in patrols to maintain security and order in the residential regions. Strengthening the conciliation activities at the locality, in the recent year, 212 of 239 cases were settled, reaching 88.7%.
Also, the movement of physical training and sports is deployed in a wide variety of forms, plentifully and effectively. The rate of regular sport trainer is 40%; that of regular family practice 30%; that of police officers practicing sports regularly reaches 99.5%, thereby contributing to improve the spiritual life of the people. In 2017, many district units have been recognized the title of advanced sport agencies in the city by Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, and Cau Giay District is awarded emulation flag for the outstanding achievement in the organization of Olympic congress in 2017 by the City People’s Committee.
In 2018, the district continues to promote the contents of the movement “All people unite to build cultural life” in association with the “Studying and following the Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and methods”, build and raise the quality of “cultural families”, “cultural residential groups”, agencies, units and enterprises meeting cultural standards; focus on disseminating and mobilizing people to well maintaining hygiene and urban order, build the elegant and civilized Hanoi people, and charity humanitarian activities in order to build a good cultural culture at the locality.
