Attending the Exhortation Ceremony of the Hanoi Football Club in the 2020 season, there were Mr. Le Khanh Hai – Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, President of Vietnam Football Federation (VFF); Mr. To Van Dong – Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and representatives of General Department of Sports and Physical Training, VFF, leaders of T&T Group, etc.
Overview of the Exhortation Ceremony
At the Exhortation Ceremony, Hanoi FC has officially launched new leaders to run the Club since the 2020 season. In which, Mr. Do Vinh Quang is the Club President; Mr. Vo Le Trung was appointed as the General Director of T&T Sports Joint Stock Company; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tuan is the Managing Director of the Capital football team. These are all very young leadership, hoping to raise the Club to a new position.

In the 2020 season, the Hanoi Football Club will participate in three major arenas including the V-League 2020, the 2020 National Cup and the Southeast Asia Club Championship (ACC). With two V-League championships, a National Cup and reaching the regional finals at the AFC Cup. In 2020, the goal of the players and Coach Chu Dinh Nghiem is to continue conquering the highest position in these tournaments.

To accomplish these goals, before the new season, Hanoi FC has signed contracts with many pillars such as Pham Duc Huy, Phi Minh Long, Nguyen Van Dung, Dinh Tien Thanh, Moses, Nguyen Van Quyet, etc. Besides, the capital football team will come to innovate the training management.
New President Do Vinh Quang affirmed: “The Hanoi FC will have to be more professional so that everyone can feel the new breeze and a sense of looking forward to the future, bringing the Hanoi Football Club towards a professional model like foreign clubs. The Hanoi Football club force is not only the management team but also the players are all young. Each club has a different orientation, we aim to the highest professional standards. We have consultants to work towards a professional standard, follow a sustainable direction and achieve achievements and reach a continental level. We are confident of achieving it within the next 3-5 years”.
After the Exhortation Ceremony, the Hanoi FC will look forward to the first match of the season against the Ho Chi Minh City Football Club in the framework of the National Super Cup takes place on the next March 1st on Thong Nhat Stadium. However, due to the complicated situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, the match is likely to take place without the audience cheering.
