Attending the ceremony were poliburo members: Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; National Assembly’s Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan; Standing member of the Party Committee Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong; Ha Noi Municipal Party Secretary, Head of Ha Noi National Assembly’ deputies Vuong Dinh Hue and Central Party Searetary, Chairman of Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee Tran Thanh Man.
Also on hand were former Party Secretary General Nong Duc Manh; former State President Tran Duc Luong; former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung; former National Assembly’ Chairmen: Nguyen Van An, Nguyen Sinh Hung; and others.

Delivering the commemorative remarks, Party Secretary General, State President Nguyen Phu Trong clearly pointed out unity is an extremely valuable tradition which has become an invincible strength of our nation, that has been nurtured throughout the length of the history of national defence and development.

According to him, for the past 90 years, under the leadership of the Party, Viet Nam National Unified Front has effortlessly stirred up the national patrotism, bringing into full play the great powers of the national unity bloc, incoporating the national strength into the era strength, in an attempt to sail Viet Nam’s revolutionary ship from success to success.

Speaking at the ceremony, People’s teacher, Assoc Professor, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Minh, member of Viet Nam Central Committee of Fatherland Front expressed: “Having become a member of Viet Nam Central Committee of Fatherland Front since the III Congress, even at the age of over 80 I am continuing to take part in the Front’s activities and currently living and working in Da Nang. Direcly witnessing the days in the fight against Covid-19 and control of natural calamities, flood and storms, I got to understand more about the significance of the national unity bloc. Therefore, the Front needs to more regularly attend to the strengthening and promotion of the national unity bloc for the social concensus.
