Lieu Chau temple is structured as a clod-beetle-like Chinese letter, which includes a gate, a front praying altar and a back praying altar. The gate is built on four pillars and each is sculptured with Chinese character parallel sentences on both sides. The front praying altar is a three compartment house with two wings, and roofed with shoecap tiles plus four upward arched-knive-shaped corners. The Back praying altar is made next to the Front praying altar whose form is like a clod-beetle-like Chinese letter, with its interiors. The Temple-pagoda of Lieu Chau village is dedicated to the three venerated Saints namely Tan, Vien and Son which shows their aspirations for timly rains and favourable weather, growing living beings, bumper crops.
At present, there are many valuable objects being preserved at the Temple-pagoda of Lieu Chau village. They are a dragon-shaped throne, an ancestral tablet, sedan, incense tables, horizontal lacquered board (printed with Chinese characters), parallel characters, doors printed with frescos, buddhist statues etc which were made dexteriously.
With the values kept, on 3rd April 2020, Ha Noi People’s Committee has decided to classify the temple of Lieu Chau village as Historical Relic and Art Architecture.
