Ribbon-cutting to inaugurate the theme display “Chu Văn An – A high mountain and Great bear”.
This event is within the framework of activities to celebrate the 650th Death Commemoration of scholar Chu Van An (1370-2020) and aimed at honouring the studious tradition, celebrating Viet Nam Teaches’s Day 20 November and Viet Nam Cultural Heritages’ Day 23 November.
The theme display “Chu Văn An – A high mountain and Great bear” has been held under the forms of documentation, objects, photos, typical drawings split into the two sections: the “Loftiness” section introduces about his biography, personality and educational career and the “Teacher’s example-Ever brighter” section tells about Quoc Tu Giam, activities in honour of scholar Chu Van An.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of Culture and Sports said: in the context of complicated Covid-19 development, the Sepecial National Relic of Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam in particular and other relics in general are facing numerous challenges posed by the disease. The display today is the great result in an effort to research, collection work conducted by the personnel of the Centre for Cultural and Scientific Activities of Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam together with the support and active participation of the French experts for the past time. This success has made an important contribution to the 650th Death Day Commemoration of Chu Van An being held in Ha Noi and has brought about useful information of the examplary Teacher in Viet Nam’s history -that is Teacher Chu Van An.
The display will last till the end of 2020.
