At the ceremony, delegates lit incense to show their endless respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh. The delegates visited and reviewed the nation’s heroic revolutionary history associated with the revolutionary relic of House No. 48 Hang Ngang Street. At the beginning of August Revolution 1945, the house was used as the workplace of the Party Central Standing Committee and President Ho Chi Minh. President Ho Chi Minh wrote the Declaration of Independence there, read it at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi on September 2, 1945, to found the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. After more than 7 decades, the house and the mementos of President Ho Chi Minh when he lived and worked there have been being preserved and promoted. The House at No. 48 Hang Ngang became a sacred historical relic and an important place for later generations to learn about the birthplace of the Declaration of Independence that gave birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

On behalf of the district leaders, Mr. Duong Duc Tuan, the Member of the Party Committee cum the District Party Secretary cum the Chairman of the District People’s Council wrote his thoughts in the souvenir book at the Relic, expressing his infinite respect and gratitude to the President Ho Chi Minh for his contribution to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and our nation. At the same time, delegates are committed to promoting the tradition of solidarity, unity, striving to build a clean and strong Party Committee of Hoan Kiem district, and successfully accomplishing political tasks to deserve the position of a central district of Hanoi city.
