Uncle Ho is visiting doctors, physicians, and nurses at Van Dinh infirmary
On June 7, 1960, Uncle Ho got to Hoa Xa commune and spoke at the solidarity meeting on preventing drought of the two districts Ung Hoa and My Duc. At the meeting, Uncle Ho praised the sense of solidarity and mutual help of people of the two districts and advised everyone to be determined to prevent drought. After that, Uncle Ho visited and encouraged residents who were actively taking water to their field in Thai Binh village, Van Thai commune, Ung Hoa district. On January 30, 1963, Uncle Ho returned to Ung Hoa to inspect the drought prevention work of Ha Dong province. The province’s leaders took Him to Quang Phu Cau commune to meet workers who were helping pump water. He commended the workers for staying and working to help people during the Lunar New Year days. On April 20, 1963, at Van Dinh infirmary (the leading unit of the health sector in the whole North region at that time), Uncle Ho visited examination room, treatment room, delivery room, medicinal plant garden, kitchen, and toilet area. He kindly talked with patients and praised the staff for keeping the infirmary clean. Uncle Ho dropped by the residential area of staff and employee and kindergarten where He shared candies to children. Uncle Ho requested Ung Hoa District Party Committee to assist Van Dinh infirmary to maintain the leading unit of the health sector and promote its advantages. After Uncle Ho’s visit, Van Dinh infirmary was called Van Dinh Hospital and now Van Dinh General Hospital.

To be specific, the district directs communes, towns, functional departments and branches to accelerate the issue of land use right certificates, handle land and urban order violations and environmental violations, promote administrative reform, strengthen administrative discipline and rules, and improve the quality and efficiency of cadres and civil servants in performing their tasks. In addition, Ung Hoa district also includes Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle contents in the district’s education program, mainly in ethics, civic education, extracurricular activities like flag salute ceremony at the beginning of each week, and collective activities like contests, art performance festivals while celebrating major festivals. Besides, Ung Hoa district also implements 02 codes of conduct of the City People’s Committee, and Plan No. 18-KH/HU on “Socio-cultural development, improving the quality of human resources, building elegant and civilized Ung Hoa people in period 2016-2020”… with the desire to make the district more and more prosperous. /.
