Implementing the direction of the City People’s Committee, the walking spaces in the district (including, Hoan Kiem lake area and vicinities; Hang Dao – Hang Giay – Dong Xuan night market street, 6 extended walking streets in the level-I preservation area of Hanoi Old Quarter) will be restored to normal operation, specifically:
Hang Dao – Hang Giay – Dong Xuan night market street, 6 extended walking streets in the level-I preservation area of Hanoi Old Quarter have been back into operation since May 15, 2020 (operating on 3 nights at weekend as normal before Covid-19 epidemic).
Hoan Kiem lake area and vicinities have been back into operation since May 15, 2020 (operating from 19:00 Friday to 24:00 Sunday as normal before Covid-19 epidemic).
The operations of walking spaces in Hoan Kiem district have been restored, ensuring requirements for security, traffic order and safety and urban order inside and outside the walking spaces in the district; The functional forces of the City, District and Ward regularly inspect and strictly handle violations, ensuring the requirements for Covid-19 prevention and control in accordance with the regulations of the Government and the Hanoi City People’s Committee.
