To this end, the Department will associate the propaganda, dissemination and education of the law on anti-corruption with the implementation of political and professional tasks and compliance with the instructions of the City Party Committee and City People’s Committee, City Inspectorate, Department of Justice on anti-corruption work. The propaganda, dissemination and education about the law on anti-corruption must be carried out strictly and consistently in many suitable forms, taking into account the functions, tasks and characteristics of the Department.
In terms of content, the Department shall continue to strengthen the propaganda, dissemination and education about the law, thoroughly grasp the content and policies of the Party and the State’s laws on anti-corruption for officials, civil servants and public employees; propagate, disseminate and educate the law on anti-corruption and ethics of integrity through cultural activities, especially traditional culture, professional arts and the masses; propagate the law on anti-corruption on December 9, 2020, the International Anti-Corruption Day under the direction and guidance of the ministries and central branches; organize film, reportage, short film or non-professional theatrical art festivals in the city, writing contests, theatrical screenwriting contests, and painting, photo and caricature contests; organize exhibitions on anti-corruption and building ethics of integrity.
To effectively implement the above contents, the Department shall organize meetings, briefings, training courses, meetings of officials, civil servants and public employees on the basis of synchronous and effective implementation of measures to prevent corruption and waste such as: well implementing the democratic policy at the grassroots level, complying with code of conduct, professional ethics, transferring working positions, publicizing assets and income, and enhancing administrative reform; carry out reception and claim resolution work as prescribed; thoroughly address any cases arising, without giving rise to any pressing issues; regarding personnel organization, officials must strictly comply with regulations and procedures on receipt, transfer, rotation, appointment and dismissal of officials, ensuring fairness, democracy, publicity and transparency; develop programs, specialized pages, specialized items, news, articles, pictures, photos, and slogans on the theme of preventing corruption and building ethics of integrity on the Department’s website, newspapers, Hanoi Culture News; organize artistic and cultural activities and itinerant propaganda; organize competitions and contests on the theme of preventing and building ethics of integrity; compile and issue documents, leaflets, pictures, photos, slogans, and publications to propagate laws on anti-corruption and ethics of integrity; build legal bookshelves and propaganda stations on anti-corruption laws and ethics of integrity in agencies and units
