The survey aims to understand the application, development and technology transfer of the fourth industrial revolution in the fields of culture, sports and tourism in line with the Government’s Resolution No. 50/NQ-CP dated April 17, 2020, implementing the Politburo’s Resolution No. 52-NQ/TW dated September 27, 2019, on some guidelines and policies to actively participate in the fourth industrial revolution. Accordingly, solutions concerning document formulation, mechanisms and policies to enhance quality and efficiency of operations and management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism based on new technology shall be advised and recommended.

According to the Plan, the survey scope is the application, development and technology transfer in the fields of culture, family, physical training, sports and tourism under the state management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The survey subjects are agencies and units directly under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; some Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Culture & Sports, and Departments of Tourism in some provinces and cities have conducted effective technology application in management and service provision in the fields of culture, sports, and tourism.
The survey contents include: The compliance with decisions made by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism on technology application and transfer; The real situation and needs of each unit in technology application and transfer for management, digital transformation, and public service provision to people and businesses through technology application and main products of the industry; The technical and technological infrastructure, mechanisms and human resources for technology application in the development of digital culture and digital tourism; The needs and requirements for digitizing national treasures, rare and precious documents, literary and artistic works of high ideological and artistic value, folk art works, intangible cultural heritage national relics, antiquities, national treasures and cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO; The application of technology and databases in the selection and training of high-performance sports athletes of the National Sports Training Centers; The effective application of technology in management, and the coordination between some Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Culture & Sports, and Departments of Tourism (the area having heritage recognized by UNESCO such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City) and businesses providing technology services in the fields of culture, sports and tourism.
Results of reports and practical surveys will be used to make more effective and synchronous advice (for local level) on technology application and development activities in the fields of culture, sports and tourism.
