Accordingly, implementing Plan No. 61/KH-UBND dated March 12, 2021, by the Hanoi People’s Committee on organizing activities to celebrate the 74th anniversary of Vietnam’s Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2021, in which, set a mobilizing target of VND 22.27 billion to support the City-wide “Gratitude” Fund in 2021.
From the beginning of 2021 until now, the people of the country in general and the capital, in particular, have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Responding to the call to support the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the Government, a large number of agencies, organizations, businesses, collectives and individuals in the City has made unremitting efforts to join hands and support, contributing to the unity and consensus of the entire people of the capital and the whole country.
To continue promoting the compassionate tradition of “When you drink water, think of its source”, “The leaves protect tattered ones”, “A few torn leaves protect a lot of torn leaves”, the Hanoi People’s Committee called and mobilized all officers and soldiers, departments, agencies, administrative and non-business agencies located in the city actively responded and contributed efforts to participate in the movement of “Gratitude” and build the “Gratitude” Fund of the city, together with the Party and State, concentrated resources to support people with meritorious services to the revolution in difficult circumstances to stabilize their lives.
