This year’s Chess Tournament attracts over 40 delegations with more than 200 athletes participating in 11 events: Male and female U07; male and female U09; male and female U11; male and female U13; male and female U15; female U18 and above.
Chess is an intellectual sport, requiring players to be very careful in their every move. After a day of competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 11 first prizes, 11 second prizes and 21 third prizes to the players with high achievements in the competition contents.

Chess tournament is an opportunity for players to meet, exchange, create conditions for players to practice patience, high concentration of thinking ability to compete, accumulate experience and improve their professional ability, contributing to building and developing the sport movement in general and Chess in particular with increasing quality and efficiency. This is also an opportunity for Thanh Oai district to select excellent athletes for the Chess gifted class, ready to participate in city-level competitions.
