The exhibition aims to introduce documents and images about the battle of “Operation Linebacker II” in December 1972, recreate heroic days and praise the resilience and heroism of Hanoi’s army and people in 12 days and nights.
The exhibition consists of three parts: Ready Hanoi, Hanoi – 12 days and nights of history, Hanoi resounds the song of victory.
Part 1: Ready Hanoi introduces documents and images about the direction of the Party, Government of Hanoi to conduct activities to fight and protect the Capital such as evacuating people and assets of agencies, enterprises, factories, and schools out of the inner city in a fleeting time, building a strong trench system, medical network and ambulance, fire brigade…
Part 2: Hanoi – 12 days and nights of history introduces documents and images about the destruction of the war and the determination of the resistance to protect Hanoi of the capital’s army and people, in both fighting and producing.
Part 3: Hanoi resounds the song of victory introduces documents and images about the results of the 12 days and nights campaign of Hanoi’s army and people.
The exhibition will open on the morning of December 5, 2022, at the Branch of Record and Archives Management Department Hanoi City (No. 20 Huynh Thuc Khang, Hanoi).
