For many years, in order to promote the spirit of solidarity and responsibility, officials and people of Kha Lac village, Dong Tan commune, Ung Hoa district have joined forces to build a homeland that is increasingly rich in beauty and civilization.

In 2021, overcoming the difficulties due to the COVID-19 epidemic, officials and people in Kha Lac village raised the spirit of solidarity, striving to effectively implement the 5 contents of the campaign “All people unite to build new rural, civilized urban areas”. The village mobilized all resources of organizations, individuals and households in the area to care for and help the poor; building a solidary and sustainable development support residential area, contributing to reducing the poverty rate and ensuring social protection. The face of the countryside is getting better. People’s lives have been gradually improved and enhanced. People here are committed to protecting the environment, building the landscape where they live and making the surrounding area green, clean and beautiful. The number of households building solid houses is increasing. 100% of households have audiovisual facilities, using hygienic water; 87% of people participate in health insurance. Currently, per capita income reaches 42, 8 million VND/person/year. The rate of implementation of cremation reaches 100%.
The construction of cultural life is valued. Every year, the Residential Front Work Department has well organized the registration of building Cultural Families and Cultural Villages. The review of cultural titles shall be conducted openly, transparently and objectively. On the occasion of the National Unity Day, the village celebrated the typical Cultural Families to encourage families and at the same time to spread the spirit into the community. Through annual review, the number of families with cultural titles reached 91.5%; Kha Lac was recognized as cultural village by the District People’s Committee for the second time.

Well performing the work of family planning and building a happy family, in 2021, the village had no cases of giving birth to a third child. Children of all ages were fully vaccinated against the vaccine. The health examination for the people was maintained, especially in the prevention and control of COVID-19 epidemic. Officials and unions in the village propagandized the people to implement well the 5K Message and the regulations of the city, district on prevention and control of the pandemic.
Promoting the spirit of benevolence, meaning that Kha Lac village always completes 100% of the fund contribution targets. Typical such as “Gratitude Fund”, “Child Sponsorship”, “For the Sea, Vietnam Islands”, “Day for the Poor”, “Waves and computers for children” program…
With continuous efforts, officials and people of Kha Lac village have continuously improved their material and spiritual life, contributing actively to the movement to build the cultural life of the locality.
