The People’s Committee of Hanoi City has recently issued a plan to organize the “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” competition in the city for the year 2023. The submission of competition entries will be accepted from September 18 to September 20, 2023.
The “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” competition in Hanoi for the year 2023, organized by the People’s Committee of Hanoi City, aims to encourage and foster the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation within Hanoi and the Capital region, creating a ripple effect throughout the community. The competition also seeks to raise awareness and contribute to the realization of potential entrepreneurial and innovative projects, while honoring outstanding ideas and projects with the potential for development.

This competition aligns with the goal of developing a number of innovative startups, connecting markets, and linking investment funds, and sponsorships from various organizations, and individuals through a series of advisory, training, and guidance activities to improve projects, business models, and presentation skills. Participants in the competition include individuals, unlimited geographically and in age, as well as businesses and organizations established within the Capital region with startup or innovative projects based on the exploitation of intellectual property, technology, and new business models that are currently in use and have customers.
Each individual, group, or business can participate in one or more ideas or projects, with each group lim
ited to no more than 5 members. Participants can register entrepreneurial ideas and startup projects across all industries and sectors of production, business, and services.
The Organizing Committee of the competition encourages ideas and startup projects in line with the development orientation of Hanoi and those that incorporate technological applications. This includes new technology, information technology, biotechnology, automation technology, green technology, clean technology, environmental protection technology, new energy technology, new material technology, and various advanced and modern technologies, aiming to create high-quality products and services.
The competition will be organized into two rounds. The qualifying round will search for creative ideas, solutions, and innovative projects. In the final round, startup groups will present their projects/products to the panel of judges. The most outstanding entrepreneurial ideas and projects will be awarded according to regulations and selected to participate in the city’s investment connection forum and other events.
The closing and award ceremony for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition in Hanoi in 2023 is scheduled to take place on October 14, 2023, at the National Convention Center.
Individuals, groups, or organizations with innovative entrepreneurial ideas or projects wishing to participate in the competition should prepare documentation and submit one hard copy (accompanied by one photocopy) to the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology (address: Inter-agency Zone, 258 Vo Chi Cong Street, Xuan La Ward, Tay Ho District, Hanoi) and one soft copy to the email address vanthu_sokhcn@hanoi.gov.vn. The period for receiving competition entries is from September 18, 2023, to the end of September 20, 2023.
