The Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 officially kicks off with captivating visual and interactive artistic activities, promising to be an excellent destination for art enthusiasts, running from November 17 to November 26, 2023.
To serve the festival, iconic landmarks such as the Hang Dau Water Tower, Long Bien Bridge, Gia Lam Train Factory, Hanoi Station, Long Bien Station, among others, have been transformed into remarkable art spaces. The artistic designs will unfold across four venues, representing key highlights of this year’s Hanoi Creative Design Festival.
The workshops at Gia Lam Locomotive Factory have been redesigned to become a creative hub where over 60 different creative activities will take place. Throughout the festival, 16 exhibitions with novel visual effects will be held, showcasing outstanding artworks such as Trinh Minh Tien’s “Aquatic Palace,” Thu Tran’s “The Call,” and the “Peripheral Movement” exhibition by Vietnamese and international artists in the Heritage Space’s Art Practice Month (MAP 2023) project.
In addition to a series of outstanding events, Hanoi residents will immerse themselves in the true festival atmosphere and actively participate in the creative process through diverse and highly interactive programs. These include community activities in the central area, community design competitions, a playground for children using recycled materials, and the participation of 120 groups in the contemporary handmade design fair, along with culinary experiences.
