On the afternoon of August 28, at Tich Giang commune, the Standing Committee of the Phuc Tho Women’s Union held a conference to promote the “Code of Conduct in Public Places” while simultaneously launching the “Model Historical Relic” and “Model Cultural Village” initiatives.

Overview of the conference

During the conference, participants listened to Ms. Hoang Thu Hong, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Hanoi Women’s Union, present the fundamental aspects of the Public Behavior Code and the criteria for establishing a “Model Cultural Village.” This initiative aims to express a strong commitment to effectively implementing the policies, laws, and directives of the Party, State, city, and district, while actively participating in the development of “Model Cultural Villages.” It is a practical effort to enhance the role of women’s organizations and members in promoting cultural lifestyles, codes of conducts, and disseminating positive aspects of women’s cultural conduct within the community.

In her remarks at the conference, Ms. Le Thi Thu, President of the Phuc Tho Women’s Union, emphasized that in the coming time, the Union will continue to assess and expand the model at various historical sites within the district, contributing to the successful achievement of comprehensive human development goals and the advancement of Vietnamese culture, rich in national identity. Through this promotional event, the Phuc Tho Women’s Union aims to further equip members with the latest information and skills related to cultural behavior in public, enhancing their capabilities as effective advocates. It is hoped that each member will become an active promoter, thus fostering the movement of the Union and building a more civilized and prosperous Phuc Tho district.

On this occasion, the Phuc Tho Women’s Union also inaugurated the “Model Cultural Village” and “Model Historical Relic” initiatives in Hamlet 4 of Tich Giang commune.
