This is one of the meaningful activities to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 – October 10, 2024).

In her speech at the ceremony, Deputy Chairwoman of Tay Ho District People’s Committee, Bui Thi Lan Phuong, stated that the exhibition showcases works participating in the “Tay Ho – Land and People” Art Photography Competition. The contest aims to promote the image of the land, people, culture, and tourism of Tay Ho District to the people and visitors, both domestic and international.

Through the Competition, the Organizing Committee selected beautiful photos depicting the culture and people of Tay Ho, serving the communication activities of political tasks, economic, cultural, and social development, as well as the promotion and tourism promotion of the district.

After the launch, the Competition received enthusiastic support from many professional and amateur photographers, including party members, government officials, and the general public in Hanoi. To date, the jury has reviewed 768 works, including 741 single photos and 27 photo sets from 103 authors.

At the “Tay Ho – Land and People” Art Photography Exhibition, the organizing committee displayed outstanding works that were selected by the Jury – Art Council to be nominated for the Competition’s awards.

According to the plan, the Award Ceremony is expected to be held on the occasion of the 95th Anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2025).

Additionally, the “Tay Ho – Land and People” Art Photography Exhibition 2024 will also feature some representative works from the local people in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the establishment of Tay Ho District (1995 – 2025).
