In response to the plan launched by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports for the contest on building and maintaining “Bright, Green, Clean, Beautiful, and Safe Communes, Wards, and Towns,” Phu Xuyen District registered and participated at the city level with two communes, Tri Trung and Dai Thang.

On October 28, 2024, a city delegation led by Le Thi Hong Hanh, Head of the Cultural Management Division of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, conducted a final inspection and scoring session for the contest in Phu Xuyen District.

In recent months, the People’s Committee of Phu Xuyen District has directed various agencies, departments, and local communes to intensify efforts to promote the contest through diverse and engaging forms of communication, achieving significant results. The district has encouraged residents to regularly participate in environmental cleaning efforts, creating a bright, green, clean, and beautiful landscape in their living areas. Additionally, the district established an inspection team to monitor, evaluate, and score contest activities, launching an emulation movement to develop “model roads” in Ta Xa Hamlet, Dai Thang Commune.

Over the past seven months, Phu Xuyen has conducted evaluations and awarded first prizes to five Hamlets: Ta Xa in Dai Thang Commune, Nam Quat in Nam Trieu Commune, Ung Hoa in Phuc Tien Commune, Noi in Chau Can Commune, and Tri Thuy in Tri Thuy Commune. To date, most communes and towns in Phu Xuyen District have effectively maintained environmental sanitation activities, regularly organizing Hamlet and alley clean-up efforts on Saturdays or Sundays.

The city delegation inspected and scored activities, highly appreciating the proactive implementation by Phu Xuyen District, particularly in the two communes, Tri Trung and Dai Thang. The delegation also urged the district to direct local communes and towns to encourage households to comply with regulations on advertising and visual displays.
