The Hanoi Culinary Culture Festival 2024 encompasses various activities including exhibition booths, a photography exhibition, a mobile book fair, traditional folk games, traditional and modern art performances, and cultural exchange forums.

The festival space will bring together pavilions from various foreign embassies in Vietnam, Hanoi’s representative traditional craft villages, and distinctive local culinary specialties. The festival serves as a connecting bridge, facilitating meetings, exchanges, and product showcases among foreign embassies, local authorities, businesses, organizations, and individuals. It provides opportunities for business cooperation agreements, market expansion, brand enhancement, and reputation building, contributing to the capital’s cultural and economic development.

The exhibition area will recreate traditional craft village atmospheres featuring Hanoi’s iconic culinary heritage such as Hanoi Pho, Vong Village’s young rice, and Phu Thuong sticky rice.

The exhibition booths are organized into three distinct zones: International Cuisine, Traditional Craft Villages’ Culinary Culture featuring artisan demonstrations, and a Product Exhibition and Tasting area offering experiential activities.

The pavilions will operate from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, allowing visitors to explore and experience the cultural and culinary traditions of Hanoi, various regions of Vietnam, and countries worldwide.

The festival also includes a photography exhibition showcasing artwork promoting domestic and international culture, tourism, and cuisine; a mobile book exhibition featuring publications on arts, culture, tourism, and cuisine; and traditional folk games alongside traditional and modern artistic performances to create a festive atmosphere for visitors.

The Hanoi Culinary Culture Festival 2024 aims to honor and preserve the capital’s traditional culinary heritage while promoting its diverse, refined, and distinctive food culture. This effort contributes to establishing Hanoi’s image and brand as an attractive culinary destination for domestic and international visitors. The festival strengthens the promotion of local culinary products and traditional craft villages, creating opportunities for investment cooperation, production, business development, and stimulating consumer demand and tourism. It promotes the capital’s development toward a comprehensive green and sustainable direction across all sectors. The festival also serves to enhance people-to-people diplomatic relations, contributing to mutual understanding and strengthening solidarity, friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between the Vietnamese people, particularly Hanoians, and the international community.
