
Pham Xuan Tai, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, presented gold medals and flowers to the outstanding athletes.
Tra Vinh secured the second position with 2 gold medals and 1 bronze medal, while Binh Duong ranked third with 1 gold medal and 1 bronze medal. Dong Nai and Dong Thap each won 1 gold medal.

The organizers awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals to the top-performing athletes.
Dang Xuan Vui, Head of Hanoi’s Petanque Department and Head Coach of the national Petanque team, stated that this tournament is a significant event for evaluating and selecting athletes for the national team. The Hanoi Petanque team, with 16 athletes (8 men and 8 women), performed well, particularly the young athletes who showed promising potential under the guidance of their senior teammates. This tournament, along with the national championship scheduled for March 2025 in Dong Thap, will be crucial for selecting athletes to compete in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in 2025. It is expected that Hanoi will have 4 to 5 athletes selected for the national team.
Coach Dang Xuan Vui praised the technical and tactical skills of Hanoi’s athletes but emphasized the need for psychological improvements through participation in both domestic and international competitions.

Held from November 6 to 14, 2024, the National Team Petanque Championship 2024 attracted nearly 200 top athletes from 16 provinces, cities, and sectors, competing in 7 events.
The National Team Petanque Championship 2024 is part of the annual national high-achievement sports competition system, providing opportunities for Petanque athletes nationwide to gain experience and improve their skills. It is also an occasion to select outstanding athletes for the national team to participate in international competition.
