The tournament is also held to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Traditional Day (November 18), the 42nd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20), and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22).
The tournament features eight football teams from football clubs and youth training centers in Dan Phuong District and various districts of Hanoi. Each team comprises seven male players aged 11 and under who are currently training at the clubs. The eight teams are divided into two groups, A and B, and will compete in a round-robin format.
Players Compete Fiercely from the First Match
At the end of the first day of competition, U11 Hong Ha defeated U11 Dong Van Football Club with a score of 10-1; U11 Trung Chau won against U11 VFW Football with a score of 2-0; Van Xuan Football Center beat DPF Football Center with a score of 6-2; and My Dream Football Center lost to U11 Tho An with a score of 0-4.
The next matches will be held every Sunday morning until December 8, 2024, at the football field in Song Phuong Commune, Dan Phuong District.
