The area of the booths is divided into three sections: the International Culinary Area, the area showcasing the cultural culinary space of traditional craft villages with artisan performances, and the area for product introduction and tasting with interactive activities.

International Culinary Area: This section introduces signature dishes from various countries and displays typical utensils and products from these nations, promoting opportunities for exchanging experiences, business cooperation, and showcasing each country’s strengths. The space recreates the culinary cultures of different nations, offering visitors not only culinary experiences but also a taste of each country’s cultural identity, blending traditional and modern flavors to create the unique tastes of each nation.

Area showcasing the cultural culinary space of traditional craft villages and artisan performances: This section recreates the rich craft village atmosphere associated with Hanoi’s culinary heritage, featuring specialties like Hanoi pho, Ho Tay shrimp cake, Phu Do vermicelli, Uoc Le pork rolls, Vong Village green rice, Me Tri green rice, Phu Thuong sticky rice and sweet soup, Tranh Khuc Chung cake, Phung spring rolls, Quan Ganh glutinous rice cake, Phu Nhi rice cakes, Quang Phu Cau porridge, Ha Mo string porridge, and So Village vermicelli. It showcases the unique culinary products of traditional craft villages and the practices that create Hanoi’s emblematic dishes, alongside artisan performances that introduce local traditional cuisine. Visitors can interact with artisans, engage in experiences, and practice the steps involved in creating Hanoi’s traditional, distinctive dishes.

Area for product introduction and tasting with interactive activities: This section presents culinary products and tasting experiences, gathering the essence of local and regional cuisine. It offers a space for creative culinary experiences under the skilled and delicate hands of artisans and chefs who “breathe life” into dishes, turning them into unique culinary artworks rich in national identity. Here, residents, tourists, and international friends can enjoy and experience Vietnam’s culinary culture.

The booths will be open daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM (from November 29 to December 1, 2024).

The festival will also feature activities such as photo exhibitions, mobile book exhibitions, traditional and modern folk games, and art performances.

With numerous rich and attractive activities, the Hanoi Culinary Culture Festival 2024 aims to honor and preserve the traditional culinary culture of Hanoi. It seeks to effectively promote the diversity, essence, and quality of Hanoi’s traditional cuisine, gradually contributing to building and promoting Hanoi’s image and brand as an attractive culinary destination to domestic and international friends. The festival also aims to introduce and promote local cultural culinary products and traditional craft villages, contributing to creating and expanding opportunities for investment, production, business, stimulating consumption, and tourism. It supports the development of the capital towards a comprehensive, green, and sustainable direction. Through these activities, the festival helps enhance and strengthen people-to-people diplomacy, contributing positively to raising awareness, mutual understanding, and fostering solidarity, friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between the people of Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular, and international friends.
