Accordingly, in mid-December 2024, six art units under the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, including Hanoi Drama Theater, Thang Long Music and Dance Theater, Hanoi Cheo Theater, Hanoi Cai Luong Theater, Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theater, and the City Cultural Center, will organize the following performances:
At 8 PM on December 20, Hanoi Cai Luong Theater will perform in Ha Dong District, while Hanoi Cheo Theater will perform in Nam Tu Liem District.
At 8 PM on December 22, Thang Long Music and Dance Theater will perform at the stage in front of the “Determined to Die for the Fatherland” Monument in Ba Kieu Temple, Hoan Kiem District. Hanoi Drama Theater will perform in Gia Lam District; Hanoi Cai Luong Theater in Ung Hoa District; Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theater in Me Linh District, and the City Cultural Center will perform in Thuong Tin District.

The art programs, meticulously and attractively staged, will praise the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, and the homeland, country, and people of Vietnam. They will particularly highlight the revolutionary struggle traditions of the nation and the People’s Army of Vietnam, both past and present. Additionally, the programs will feature songs about the thousand-year-old civilized Hanoi – the City of Peace and Creativity.
With the combination of various art forms, from light music, drama, and circus to traditional operatic forms like Cai Luong and Cheo, the performances by these art units are sure to be well-received and loved by the people of the capital.
