Thanh Xuan District is home to many notable historical and cultural relics and traditional festivals, such as Go Dong Thay, Khuong Dinh Temple, Cu Chinh Temple, Khuong Ha Temple, Vong Temple, Khuong Ha Pagoda, and Giap Nhat Temple and Pagoda. Among these are the National Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Five Moc Villages Festival and the National Relic Dong Thay Mount.
To date, 100% of the wards in Thanh Xuan District have completed the consolidation of Monument Management Boards, established, and issued Regulations on the organization and activities of these boards. The work of preserving and promoting the value of relics and heritage has always been well implemented.
Building on these achievements, Thanh Xuan District has proposed solutions for the future, including linking tourism development with the promotion of the value of relics and festivals. The district focuses on introducing, promoting, and advertising the value of relics and festivals through various forms, especially by developing tourism products associated with the unique characteristics of each relic and festival. It also collaborates with heritage sites and schools to organize visits and volunteer activities for students at these sites. Additionally, Thanh Xuan District is enhancing the classification dossiers of relics, preparing lists, and completing the documentation for relic ranking and upgrading. The district invests in fire prevention and control equipment and creates scientific profiles to assess the value of all artifacts and worship items at the relics.
